This year is the 12th year of service for Karen and I at Olive Knolls and to the wonderful people that call this their church home. We have seen our ministry grow from a couple of drums, bass, and a sax player to what we are blessed with today. Our desire is that God will continue to lead us in our steps, that He will provide the resources, and that we’ll continue to be open to where He leads us. It still amazes me at how faithful the Lord is and how blessed we all are to be able to use our gifts to His glory!
Celebration Choir - As mentioned, we’ve grown! Our band consists of an excellent group of guitarists, a thriving horn section, percussionists that keep us on track and vocalists that live to serve the Lord through great music. Our Praise Band is unashamedly upbeat, features some great expression of talent, and deeply desires to reflect the creativeness of the Creator. We are blessed to not only lead our congregation weekly in worship, but are also “regulars” at the Taft Prison (for Christmas), the Rescue Mission (for Revival) and the Market Place during their summer concert series.
Praise Band -Our choir is one of the greatest features in Worship Ministries and is always looking for new peoplethat have a heart for worship and a desire to see God’s people lift up the one 
who gives us life! There’s always room for more, and no previous singing experience is needed as we are very careful to teach music at a pace that keeps everyone moving forward. We have recently added even more space to accommodate more singers, so we have a place for you. Oh, and our rehearsals are AWESOME!

Drama Ministry offers a variety of opportunities for expression and is used during our regular Sunday Services and in Youth Ministry, as well as other special events. There are many ways to get involved: acting, stage and props building, lighting, costuming, stage managing, make-up and writing.
Tech Teams - What can I say about these people…AMAZING! They are the behind the scenes heart and soul of our operation and we couldn’t 
do what we do the way we do it without them! That’s Tech Team talk which translates a huge thank you for these men and women. Previous experience is great, but not necessary as we provide easy pace training. In fact it’s so easy, even a Caveman can do it! (Just kidding, guys).
Song Writing Team - Our most recent project titled “Olive Knolls Unplugged” can be purchased at the church. It features 10 original songs written and performed by three of our local artists (Joel Jacob, Gwen Wilcox, and Mark Kounter). You’ll love this new CD for everyday listening and encouragement and we’d love to get them sold!
