Webster defines "calling" as "A divine summons, or prompting to a particular duty." One of the dangers of the church today is the "consumer mentality." The church is not about being served, it is about serving. We were saved not to sit, but to serve God with fulfillment and fruitfulness.

The first step towards discovering your calling is to discern how He has designed you. (i.e. your strengths and passions) Once you know your unique God-given design, you can then discover the difference he planned for you to make with your life.

To help you accomplish these steps, we have partnered with Serving Central Ministries so you can assess your God-given strengths and passions online and start expressing them in ministry here.

1. Please use our special church assessment code (olivekc) to sign up at Serving Central, www.servingcentral.com.
2. Click on the "Church Member" button, then on "Ministry Assessment".
3. As you create your user account, be sure to select "Olive Knolls Church" from the Home Church drop-down menu.
