Olive Knolls is committed to seeing transformation in our world through the love of Jesus Christ. We believe that whole societies can be transformed as the individuals in these communities change. Change comes one person at a time. Scripture makes it clear that as Christ Followers, we should minister to both the physical and spiritual needs of people. To focus exclusively on the physical or exclusively on the spiritual would be to have an incomplete ministry. Micah 6:8 has helped shape our strategy:
He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
There are so many underserved people in this world, both next door and across the globe. Our goal is to be the hands and feet of Jesus locally in the Bakersfield area AND in our three adopted countries: Haiti, South Africa & Belize.
